Breanna’s Meditation Review and Tips

How did you hear about us and why did you start?

One day, I was at home having a self-pity party. I didn’t have them often but when I would, I could stay in that head space for days and it wasn’t fun. I was thinking about “The one I let get away,” about my mindset at that time and my different behaviors that led to the ending of what I believed was the best relationship I had ever had. I did a google search for ‘Meditation near me’ as I had looked for Therapists but didn’t feel the connection. The best thing that has ever happened for me was finding Main Line Meditation. 

What benefits or realizations have you experienced? What are some before and after changes?

Some of the benefits that I’ve experienced include: increased patience, decreased anxiety, a positive mindset, improved relationships with others and so much more! Before starting meditation, I had abandonment issues that led to a fear of truly connecting with others and now I am able to be my true self around others without a lingering fear of potentially losing them. Also before, I would feel lonely without the company of others and now, I’m very content either way.

What challenges did you experience in your meditation? Do you overcome your challenges/how have you overcome them?

One of the challenges I experienced in my meditation was letting go of judgment; judgment of myself and of others. Through this method, I was able to see the areas of my life where I’ve been judgmental throughout my life and release it.

Are there any words (tips/advice) you would like to share with those who are considering starting and/or with current members?

The advice I’d give to everyone is for them to diligently follow the method, be open and honest with yourself and with others and just know that you are in a space that is free of judgment and very much supportive.
